How GTS Charter Works to Make Los Angeles a Better Place

Thanks to our success in the highly competitive Los Angeles charter transportation industry, we at GTS Charter are fortunate enough to be in the position to give back to the city and its people through charity and community work. We’d like to highlight a few of our recent actions in this area.

Christmas Giving

During the 2024 Christmas season, we collected and donated toys and gifts for distribution to patients in Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The pediatric hospital is a nationally ranked healthcare facility headquartered on Sunset Boulevard, with additional campuses in Arcadia, Bakersfield, Encino, Santa Monica, South Bay, and Valencia.

We also delivered more than 300 pounds of food items to the Los Angeles Food Bank this past Christmas season. The food bank serves more than 900,000 people every month, acting as a vital lifeline for people experiencing food insecurity — especially during the current cycle of high inflation and rising food prices.

You can get involved!

With thousands of Angelenos impacted by the tragic January 2025 wildfires, people around the city are rallying to help. If you want to assist wildfire victims or engage in other charitable community activities, here are some things you can do:

  • Donate your time. Charities and aid agencies can become overwhelmed with physical donations, which require processing and take up a lot of space. As an alternative, consider volunteering your time for a cause you believe in.
  • Help one family. With so many people in need of help, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. You can concentrate your efforts on a single family or recipient in your community, which personalizes your giving, keeps you invested, and makes your positive impact hit close to home.
  • Financial gifts offer maximum utility. Financial donations offer the most flexibility, since they can be used for whatever is needed most at any given moment. If you’re able to offer one to a cause you believe in, please consider it.
